Extended Daycare Information (Optional Program)

Registration Fee – There is a $30 registration fee for each family to cover the cost of replenishing supplies and training employees.

Rates explanation – Rates are based on a per-child basis at $4.00 an hour. There is a minimum one-hour charge per visit. After the first hour, time is broken down into half hours with a five-minute grace period (i.e.: 3:00 – 3:45 = 1 hour, 3:00 to 4:30 = 1.5 hours, 3:00 to 5:05 – 2 hours).

Extended Day Care Schedule – Extended Day Care (EDC) is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Remember EDC is open on half days, but closed during full days off from school. EDC will follow the schedule for late starts if we have inclement weather.

Monthly Statements – Statements will be sent out the second Thursday of the month in your Family Communication Envelope (FCE). Payment of balances are due to the school no later than the 10th of the month. Should we receive your payment after the 10th of the month, a late fee of $20.00 will be charged to your balance, and should be paid at the same time as your monthly payment.

Late pick-up fees of $1.00 per one (1) minute after 6:00 p.m. are due immediately upon picking up your child. Failure to pay these fees will result in your child being refused care until payment is made.

To Volunteer in Your Child's Class Safe,Environment Program

If you help in the classroom, drive on field trips, tutor, or a CYO coach or volunteer, the following steps are required:

The Three Basic Elements of the Safe Environment Program

  1. 1.Criminal Background Check (complete a form)

  2. 2.Abuse Prevention Policy

  3. 3.Safe Environment Training

  4. Complete “Called to Protect for Ministries” class

  5. Returning volunteers must complete annual update training, which includes online Armatus courses at the www.seattle.setanet.org site.

Register for the initial class:

  1. 1.On any computer with internet access, go to:  www.seattle.setanet.org

  2. 2.Click “Register for Classes”.  You will see a list of all classes urgently scheduled throughout the Archdiocese of Seattle.

  3. 3.Find a class for which you would like to register and click “Register Here” on the right side of the page.

  4. 4.Create a participant profile by using your home address.

  5. Using your home address is important because your training record will follow you to a new ministry location and make it easier to locate your information instead of being combined with an entire school or parish location.

  6. Use a valid email address for the Certificate of Completion; other wise you may not receive a copy to turn into your school/parish.

  7. List all locations at which you will participate.  This allows all locations to verify the participant has completed the required training.

  8. You may update your profile at any time through “My Obligations”.
