Mrs. Katherine Thrall

I am a graduate from University of Arizona with a degree in Geography, and from Seattle Pacific University with a Masters in Teaching. I am an educator who is very passionate about learning and assisting students in meeting their academic goals and personal goals. I am also a teacher who enjoys implementing creativity and humor into the daily lessons and interactions with students. And I am an individual who is kind, respectful, willing and cooperative with all students, teachers, staff members and community members that make up the learning environment.

I have had many awesome experiences teaching in elementary school like being a fifth -grade teacher, and a first and second grade teacher. So, I have a pretty good idea of where we are heading as third graders, and where we have come from!  I am also super excited about exploring, discovering, and sharing new ideas while we engage in our learning through participating in projects, working together, and using technology. And I love to read, so I would love to hear about any good books anyone has read.

Lastly, I love living here in West Seattle, since my favorite activities include paddle boarding, kayaking, and exploring the tidepools on Alki.  I hope to see many of the OLG community out and about in the wonderful outdoors!
