Every year is a whole new musical adventure for our OLG students! Chorus participation is open to Fourth and Fifth grade students, who are invited to “test it out” to see if they would like to join. As the pictures above show, this is one of our students’ favorite extracurricular activity!
In the Church Choir Loft, they rehearse and perform for the All-School Masses. In addition, each year, under the direction of our talented Music Specialist, Ms. Sager, you may see them doing all or most of the following:
- Giving a few “Flash Mob” lunchtime performances,
- Singing carols at Providence, the OLG Light Up the Night, and the school Christmas sing-along,
- Leading every school Mass and audition for cantor roles
- Learning how to sing two-part harmony and rounds
- Auditioning for singing the National Anthem at a Mariner’s Game
- Performing extraordinary songs at the Winter and Spring Concerts
