As part of of OLG’s Service Stewardship Program, students attending Fifth Grade have participated in different service projects over the last few years. One of them, has been assisting with our Annual Parish Community Dinner, a great opportunity to bring together “over 65 years old” residents from the community and do something special for them while giving thanks for the chance to get to know them.
Proudly wearing OLG aprons, our Fifth Grade students happily served the different tables, assisted diners and got to spend some quality time with the many attendees. This has been one of the Fifth Grade favorite service projects over the years and a beloved community and Parish event which we we hope we may have back soon!
