Ms. Hobbs has been at OLG since 2013, and has been teaching in Catholic schools since 2008. She holds a Masters in Education. Ms. Hobbs also serves in an Archdiocesan role as Missionary Discipleship Institute (MDI) Companion, working with the OCS, Maryknoll and 7th grade religion teachers across the Archdiocese. Service, outreach and community are paramount to Ms. Hobbs’ teaching, classroom environment and personal life. As a member of the Middle School Team, Ms. Hobbs works with students to expand their independence, leadership skills and desire to serve and work with those on the margins of society.

As Vice Principal for the school and Director of the Early Learning Center (ELC) programs here at Our Lady of Guadalupe I have the opportunity to work with families in all their years at OLG. I am thrilled with the recent updates to our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes!   I have a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Oaks College, CA. I have been teaching in Early Childhood for twenty five years.  I have two grown children and two wonderful dogs.  I am a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.  When I am not working I enjoy my wonderful family, friends and travel.

Being a part of  the inner-workings at OLG and getting to know your children first hand has been incredibly rewarding. I get to play, be inspired by boundless creativity and energy, practice patience, and be reminded of mindfulness, humility, and forgiveness. I am blessed to share a role in your child’s joyful lives.  My daughter is a proud graduate of 2019.

I am honored to serve as the new Development and Marketing director at OLG. Originally from Austin, TX, I have had the privilege of living in various places across the country and overseas, gaining a wealth of experience and perspective along the way.

I have been happily married for 22 years to Ernesto “Ernie”, a retired Navy Chief who currently works at Starbucks HQ.  We have four wonderful children, all whom graduated from OLG. Our oldest son Isaac is graduating from College of the Holy Cross this year, while our son, Miles, is in his second-year at University of Chicago Loyola. Our twin daughters Stella and Lucia, are seniors at Seattle Prep. We have called West Seattle home for the past 15 years and have been active members of the OLG community throughout. In addition to my professional background in sales, marketing, PR, and social media, I am a proud member of the Starry Crowns singing group. Our family remains deeply engaged in the church and school, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this special community. I look forward to meeting and working with many wonderful families at OLG and continuing the mission of promoting our school’s unique qualities. Together, we will work toward reaching our fundraising goals, ensuring the ongoing success and vibrancy of Our Lady of Guadalupe School.
