ELC After School Care

Our Lady of Guadalupe School’s ELC after school program is a safe and structured space for young children. Our Early Learning Center (ELC) After School Care Program is for families who need care for their children grades PreSchool and Pre-K. The close supervision and safety protocols followed by our ELC’s team ensure children’s well-being at all times; while engagement in age-appropriate and educational activities ensures children are constantly learning.

We offer After School Care: Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.  

The ELC After Care Program follows a consistent, yet flexible, daily routine based on developmentally appropriate practices, as well as the individual needs of each child in the group.

Some activities include: Circle Time, Story Time, Free Play, Outdoor Play, Art, and Snack.

PLEASE NOTE: Even though we are open for 10 hours, according to state law, children under five are not allowed to spend more than 9 hours a day in a preschool environment.

ELC After Care requires annual enrollment and a sign up for each day students will attend.  Links are available in Brightwheel (Parents will receive a Brightwheel invitation via email by early September.

Drop Off / Pick Up

  • Drop Off/ Pick Up procedures will be the same as school drop of pickup.
  • Students will be located in the Preschool classroom or the outdoor playground.
  • Late charges will apply after 6:00 pm.

Fees

For more information, please review the rate structure on this school year’s Registration Policy.

  • The rate for the 2026-2027 school year is $9.00 per hour.
  • After the first hour, time is broken down into 30-minute increments with a five-minute grace period, for example:
    • 3:00-3:45 = 1 hour
    • 3:00-4:30 = 1.5 hours
    • 3:00-4:35 = 1.5 hours
  • A fee of $1 per minute per child after 6:00pm will be added to your monthly invoice.
  • If your child is signed up, but does not attend, you will be charged $25 per occurrence.
  • Please do not just send your child.  Families who attend after care but did not use the SignUpGenius will be charged $25 per occurrence.

Monthly Invoices

Invoices will be created by the end of the month reflecting the prior month’s balance in your Finalsite account.  The amount due will be automatically processed with your next FinalSite payment cycle (typically the 5th of the month).  If payment is not received by the due date, late fees may be assessed).
