Because any day of the school year is a great day for a special event and to support OLG!
In addition to raising funds to support our school, there are many benefits of fundraising through events. Students gain valuable leadership skills and confidence as many of these events require students to work with each other, as well as their parents and teachers in order to meet their overall goal, and this teaches them teamwork. Students are also taught the importance of community, creativity, caring about others, and improving the common environment. Fundraising also allows parents to get involved and play a more active role in their children’s lives.
The true sense of community, overall warmth and camaraderie that everyone participating in an OLG event gets to experience, is one of the aspects that makes the OLG community so special and unique.

September
Jog-A-Thon: OLG’s popular Jog-A-Thon is our school’s first big fundraiser of the year. All donations are 100% tax deductible and go directly to help support all the different programs offered by the school. To learn more about the run and how you may participate!
October
Halloween Carnival: This is a fun and SPOOKTACULAR night for the OLG School community! An event with carnival games, prizes, costume contest, baked goods and much more. This is one of our most popular community events and it’s guaranteed to be fun for all.
March
Annual School Auction: Our Lady of Guadalupe School Auction is the largest fundraiser of the year, making it among the most significant contributors to the school’s operating budget. The Auction is sponsored and supported by the Parent Organization, OLG Parish, School Commission, parents, students, staff, and our surrounding community and businesses.

OLG Bingo Night: Family Bingo Nights are BACK! Our popular Bingo Night is not just good fun for all, but a fabulous way to boost funds for OLG!
June
Loop The ‘Lupe!: Loop The ‘Lupe! is a 5K obstacle course fun run and the main fundraising event for Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. This is an event that truly brings together the entire OLG school and Parish communities as one. The race includes an Elite Wave with 9 obstacles, a 5K fun run without obstacles, a youth dash, and the popular Senior Saunter so the entire family can join in.
