Welcome Parents, Guardians, Caregivers and All!
OLG is proud to be a true COMMUNITY.
Just as we like to say it takes a village to educate a child, well, WE ARE THE VILLAGE š and we are all in this TOGETHER!
As a parent/guardian at OLG, you are automatically a member of the PO: the Parent (Guardian) Organization. By actively participating in school life, you not only fuel our volunteer committees, activities and events, but you also provide an inspiring example for our students.
What is the OLG Parent Organization?
We are a group of committed parents who love to be involved with our childrenās school and enjoy working together for the greater good of our school and education of the students.
Our Mission
The mission of the OLG PO is to foster a welcoming, positive and supportive environment for OLG families, faculty and staff and increase school community engagement through effective fundraising, as well as school-wide events and activities that nurture an engaged, connected and vibrant OLG community.

Get Involved and Volunteer!
We know…how many times have you asked yourself āwhat was I thinking taking on this role?ā It is true that volunteering can seem very daunting and can -in fact- be very hard at times. Well, if the same 20 percent of the people does 80 percent of the work all the time, then yes, getting involved can be exhausting. But it DOES NOT HAVE TO BE! We are over 200 families! That is more than enough people to accomplish what we do and so much more. If we all work together and become active members of the PO, volunteering WILL BE FUN, memorable and -most importantly- DOABLE.
Offering your time and talent to the many wonderful programs and events at our school throughout the year is a great way to use your skills, meet new people, build lasting friendships, and support our children. Parent volunteers are always needed and by getting involved we get to promote, and strengthen our OLG school community.
And to make sure getting involved will be a fun experience for all, we want to know your talents, likes and dislikes. We are all more apt to volunteer in activities we enjoy and we are good at. So…help us help you and LET US KNOW by completing this quick Volunteer Talent Profile Survey. Need inspiration or ideas? Take a look at our Volunteer Opportunities.
