Hello, I am Elizabeth Reite and this is my first year teaching at OLG, and I will be your new science teacher and sixth grade homeroom teacher! I have my BS in environmental sciences with a minor in education and my masters in education from the University of Washington Tacoma. For my thesis I focused on outdoor science education, and I’m really excited to be part of a school that utilizes the outdoors and the environment for our students. I have a passion for our world’s natural wonders both large and small! When I’m not teaching I can be found hanging out with my cats and my dog at home after school doing arts and crafts, and on the weekends I like to go hiking with my dog Popcorn.
