I am thrilled to serve as Principal at Our Lady of Guadalupe School – a vibrant and joyful parish school community, committed to fostering academic excellence for all students and a lifelong commitment to service, rooted in faith. Our staff is committed to the growth and success of each student, to creating a faith-filled learning community, and to ongoing professional development. In partnership together, our staff, school families, school commission and committees provide a supportive environment in which students thrive and take ownership of their learning. As a ministry of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, our school is supported by a parish community that believes wholeheartedly in the school’s mission and ministry. Our theme this year reflects this commitment to faith, service, and growth: We are the Hands and Feet of Christ. This is a community in which everyone has a role to play, and the participation and gifts of all are welcome and celebrated. Come visit and see for yourself what a special place Our Lady of Guadalupe is!
I have worked in education for fifteen years, most recently as the math specialist and on the administration team at St. Luke in Shoreline. I have also served as principal at St. Therese Catholic Academy and spent years in the public schools as well. I believe that in Catholic schools we have the unique opportunity to build the spiritual component of students along with excellent strong academics.
I love witnessing all aspects of student life: from joyful games of tag on the playground, to surprising discoveries in science class, to joining hands at mass. I look forward to sharing these moments and more with Guadalupe students, staff, and families. My own faith journey began at OLG when I completed RCIA in 2004. My family and I are currently active in Our Lady of the Lake parish where my 3 children also attend school. I am also an avid outdoorsmen and enjoy hiking, backpacking, biking, and cross-country skiing. I look forward to seeing you in and around our wonderful campus.

Director of Development and Marketing

As a mother of two, I am a firm believer in Catholic education. My daughters are entering Second and Fifth grades at St. Anthony School in Renton this year, and I find that the parental involvement, community and education are head and shoulders above those of my friends with children in public school.
I come to OLG from Sacred Heart School in Bellevue, where I was the Development Assistant. In that role I worked on the Annual Fund, Auction and other fundraising and alumni events. Prior to having children I worked in Marketing for a Fortune 500 company, and I look forward to bringing all of my skill sets to work in this position.
In addition, I’m highly involved at my daughters’ school, coordinating the annual Oktoberfest Carnival, volunteering in the classroom and leading two separate Girl Scout Troops. I love the feeling of family I share with the entire school community through this involvement, and I look forward to joining the OLG family as well.

Office Assistant / EDC Assistant
Being a part of OLG for nearly a decade as a parent (Raquel, 7th grade) has evolved into an official role at OLG including EDC, setting up after-school extracurricular activities, coordinating the school’s weekly newsletter, FACTS guru, and other office help. I am very thankful for the stellar education and welcoming community at OLG.
I have a background in a variety of company management roles in a start up dot-com and renewable energy company. Prior to family life, I worked in corporate training, online usability improvements, and procedural documentation. In addition to my official school roles, you will see me coaching the 7th grade basketball team, updating the parent org web pages, and helping out at various parent org activities. My family likes to spend summers exploring the country and hiking from the comfort of our RV.
Using my skills at OLG and getting to know your children first hand has been incredibly rewarding. I get to play, be inspired by boundless creativity and energy, practice patience, and be reminded of mindfulness, humility, and forgiveness. I am blessed to share a role in your child’s joyful lives.
