Hello, it’s Mr. Santos! Seventh grade students partake in a curriculum called Missionary Discipleship Institute, which calls them to encounter neighbors on our margins, experience disturbance from unjust situations, and design a way to respond to these injustices. This year, after learning about all the Catholic Social Teachings, our class was most moved by the experience of immigrants, particularly refugees who face incredible struggle in having to flee their homes and families.
