I am so excited and blessed to teaching Art (as well as Spanish) this year at Our Lady of Guadalupe School. I am delighted to be part of the creative learning experience for your children and look forward to helping them on their journey on becoming excited, motivated, and interested in the fascinating world of the visual arts!
My name is Vivette Nofrietta (aka “Señora Nofrietta” if you are attending my Spanish classes) and I really love making connections with students. I’ve been teaching for more than 12 years in Mexico and now God and life have brought me here to live this beautiful experience in such a wonderful place. In all these years I have found that when I have fun, and my students have fun, everyone forgets that we are actually working on something, and learning happens much more easily and naturally.
Many of you already know me as a Spanish teacher, which I love to do, but another of my great passions is art. With more than 20 years of experience as a Graphic Designer and a master’s degree in Advertising Design and Corporate Identity, I am convinced that students at OLG will do amazing things.
I love teaching children from Kindergarten to 8th grade about the wonderful world of Art. I think Art is all about expressing yourself, and I want to help the kids do just that. We’ll use all sorts of materials, like tempera, pencils, chalk and watercolor to create art. I believe that every child possesses innate artistic potential, and my goal is to discover their talents while teaching a love of art that will last a lifetime.
I am thrilled to embark on this creative journey, ignite the OLG students imagination, help them discover the limitless possibilities of art and also their own creative side and…have fun! I’m excited to work with OLG students and show them how amazing this class can be. We’ll create all kinds of art together and have a great time doing it!
Together, we’ll paint a brighter future, one brushstroke at a time. Let’s be creative and discover the world of art!
