Our colorful Salmon Waterfall Mural has been a children’s art project which continues to bring a sense of calm and joy to everyone walking up or down the school’s stairwells. You can spend quite some time admiring each unique salmon painting, featuring different patterns, colors and sources of inspiration, and each, initialized by the student who painted it.
Below you can see a few pictures of the mural as well as Ms. Heidi, former School Counselor, who back in 2013 used her “Distinguished Educator Award” to learn new art and mural drawing techniques and, along with the kids, bring alive our stairwells with the fabulous “salmon waterfall”.
