Dear OLG Families,
Fire and Flame. This weekend we celebrate Pentecost, the birth of the Church. The flame of the Holy Spirit spread and many tongues could be spoken and understood (Acts 2). What a time for our nation and world now, where mountains spew fire and flame in Hawaii, and Friday the 18th is the anniversary of St. Helens’ erupting in our state. We also see our politicians and nations erupting in discord. Fire and Flame, some see these as destructive forces, but we can also see renewal in these times. This weekend as you are out and about, wear the color red, and note others around you who are wearing red. Let the flame spread!
