Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday. Yes, even over Christmas. The reason that I have always enjoyed it most is simply because it is about being together, it is about sharing in gratitude, and a meal. It’s about family traditions, new and old. And for my family anyway, generally it is filled with laughter. It isn’t about presents, the sales or decorations (though I do love them), but simply about being present and in the moment, whatever those moments may entail.
This week, as I have reflected on things that I am grateful for, I find myself thankful for each of you, the students, the teachers, the parents and the extended community.
