- FCE (Family Communication Envelope) goes home with your youngest child today. Remove contents, initial and send envelope back to youngest child’s classroom for next month.
- Jog-A-Thon Fundraising: Help your student get sponsorships
- DUE NOW: Comfort/Earthquake Kits. If you haven’t already, please turn in a Comfort Kit to your student’s homeroom class so our emergency bin is set for the school year.
- MAP Testing begins next week. More info to come.

At the end of last week, I saw something that said “Only 15 Fridays to Christmas!” and was completely taken aback. In fact, I didn’t believe it, pulled open my calendar and actually counted. Sure enough, 15 Fridays until Christmas. Wild. It’s funny to me how we count time, and track it. 1 year doesn’t seem like a lot. 365 days does. 1 week goes by quickly and a two hour meeting can be long. I find myself reflecting on this today, not because it’s 15 Fridays until Christmas, but rather because the importance of how we use and celebrate our time matters.
