Week 2 of Remote Learning

UPDATE 3/24Due to Governor Inslee’s new declaration of a “STAY HOME” Order then our school office will be closing for physical access today at Noon.  Please pickup any remaining learning materials &/or chromebooks that you have requested between 10am and Noon today.

We understand this is a challenging time for all.  We know that we are all trying to do our best in these uncertain times.  Please remember to be safe and keep connected with others.  Our Many Parts do work best as One Body in this time of challenge and the new conditions we all operate under.  Our teachers and staff continue to work hard providing remote learning instruction and support during this time, and the school office will continue to operate with phone, zoom, and email to serve your needs.

————————

This, our second week of remote learning, has our teachers starting the week with a bit of professional development around using Zoom for whole class instruction or within small groups and help sessions.  We know those connections between students and teachers is truly valuable!   Many classes have already started using this tool, and with tightening restrictions on our physical movement, we want to maintain our social connections as best we can!

Speaking of physical movement, many grade levels have items to pick-up in the office (see email from your student’s teacher).  These learning packets were made available last Friday at the school office… There is also a “turn-in” basket for the first week of work in many classes.  Just like a restaurant, swing by for your “takeout”!

Office hours for “returns” and “takeout” continue 8am-3pm today!  Be safe and keep the the physical distance (but stay social)!
