Curriculum Night for Pre-K to 8th Grade Parents
Attendance is MANDATORY
When: Thursday, Sept 4th, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Walmesley Center (gym)
Who: Parents of students PK to 8th grade. Adults only.
Why: Find out the great plans our teachers have in store. And its Mandatory!
Please arrange your own childcare.
** Earn volunteer hours by watching a group of OLG students whose parents attend the meeting.**
Uniforms:
Applicable to students in grades Kindergarten through 8th
- Our uniform exchange will be open on Aug 27, 2025 during our Ice Cream Social! Request items here (well ahead of Aug 27), or show up).
- Find resources/ guidelines about the OLG dress code, including P.E. attire and OLG Spirit Wear on our OLG Uniform Guidelines page.
- New uniforms available from Lands’ End. For suggestions on sources for white shirts/navy pants, click here.
Uniform Guidelines
Take note of any additional paperwork to have ready:
These forms are required to be submitted prior to the first day of school. If you are looking for something, check the Parent Resources Hub.
- Certificate of Immunizations (CIS): Immunization records must be up-to-date by the first day of school. The Washington Immunization site makes it easy to auto-fill information on the form. Just don’t forget to sign! More information can be found on the WA DOH page.
- Earthquake / Disaster Comfort Kit Supplies: All students are required to have an emergency comfort kit. Bring it to the Aug 28 supply drop off and have one less item on your September list.
- Health Forms:
- K-8: Make sure to review also any remaining paperwork to complete in your Finalsite Checklist. Look for further details this summer in email.
- PreSchool/Pre-K: Turn in the 2026-2027 ELC Health Form with wet ink at the ELC Orientation on Wednesday, Sept 3, 2026
- Authorization to Administer Medication Form (Optional): Use this form if your child requires medication to be administered at school. Please note that it must be signed by a physician

- The Parish Family Picnic is coming up Sunday, Sept x at Lincoln Park.
- 1st Grade parents: Sacramental Prep Year One Orientation meeting will be Sunday, Sept xx 9:45am to 10:45 am.
- 7th and 8th Grade parents: Youth Confirmation Info meeting on Sunday, Sept xx 9:45-10:45am.
- 2nd Grade parents: Sacramental Prep Year Two Orientation meeting will be Sunday, Sept xx 9:45am to 10:45 am for children who participated in Year One classes.
- Review our before or after school care options at our EDC (K-8 students) and WrapAround Care (ELC students) pages.
- Get familiar with Required Family Volunteer Hours.
- Get to know our Parent Org and volunteer for a position! PO meetings are generally the 2nd Tuesday of each month. All parents are part of the PO and welcome to attend meetings.
